cross-scheme verification of certification bodies
Before approving a new Certification Body, CCEE will perform a cross-check against publicly available registers of other EU-recognized Voluntary Schemes. This process aims to:
- Prevent conflicts of interest;
- Avoid accrediting bodies with a record of non-compliance;
-
Ensure the integrity and credibility of the RFNBO certification system.
This verification will include checks for any history of suspensions or sanctions in other voluntary certification schemes.
